Founded in 2008, Savanes CBO is a Kenya-based non-profit organization committed to transforming lives through access to education, healthcare, and social initiatives. Our primary mission is to support underprivileged children by providing the basic necessities they need to attend school including payment of school fees, provision of stationery, and other essential learning materials.
We operate across arid and semi-arid regions, as well as in urban slums in major towns across Kenya, where access to quality education remains a major challenge for many children. By removing the financial and material barriers to learning - and promoting community well-being through healthcare and social initiatives - we create opportunities for children to grow, thrive, and build a brighter future.

To ensure that every underprivileged child and vulnerable individual in Kenya has access to basic education, healthcare, and social services, enabling them to learn, grow, and thrive regardless of their background or circumstances.
Our Vision
A Kenya where no child or vulnerable person is denied opportunity due to poverty or circumstance - a future where every individual has access to the tools, they need to realize their potential and live a life of dignity.
To date, over 50 children have directly benefited from our programs, a number that continues to grow through the support of our community, volunteers, and partners. At Savanes CBO, we believe that every child deserves a fair chance at education, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Despite the progress we've made, we continue to face challenges such as limited funding, logistical difficulties in reaching remote areas, and the increasing number of children in need. Nonetheless, we remain deeply committed to our mission, working collaboratively to overcome these obstacles and expand our reach.
